Pioneer & Onkyo USA Corporation today announced a new stereo receiver, the SX-10AE. Available now for MSRP $249 USD / MSRP $329.99 CDN, the SX-10AE’s Direct Energy Design and 100W per channel (6 ohms, 1 kHz, THD 10%, 2ch Driven) produces crisp, lively sound and deep bass. Its four analog audio inputs (CD, Network, Line 1, Line 2) allow owners to connect to their favorite music source, while Bluetooth® connectivity provides a wireless streaming option.

The SX-10AE benefits from Pioneer’s design heritage as every inch of the chassis has been devised to create quality sound, including a shorter transmission path, clean grounding and rigid structure with improved damping. The discrete amplifier inherits the Direct Energy Design of Pioneer’s high-end AV receivers for faithful reproduction of the audio content.

The built-in Bluetooth® Wireless Technology (ver. 4.2) can easily stream songs from compatible devices and features A2DP and AVRCP profiles, with support for SBC and AAC codecs.

The SX-10AE’s AM/FM tuner comes with 40 pre-sets for easy access and the automatic tuning feature lets owners easily find stations in their area. A handy Auto Standby allows users to program an automatic shut-off after being left uncontrolled for a predetermined amount of time.
